Our black Areto hat is a crochet fly hat. It combines the elegant and timeless style of a square hat with all the technique and innovation of Marpezia. So, this hat is hand crocheted by our artisans. It has a silver-colored leather border, which contrasts and enhances the elegance of the hat. Its ears are made of lycra to ensure freedom and lightness for the horse when wearing it. The elasticity of the fabric also allows the hat to fit perfectly to the horse’s ears. The silver Marpezia logo enhances the whole and recalls the matching Areto rug.

The Areto black hat provides excellent fly protection while allowing the horse to remain elegant. This will prevent your horse from losing concentration and shaking his head because he is bothered by the flying insects inherent to the summer season.

This is why our artisans made our black Areto hat a few kilometers from our workshops, located in Haute-Savoie. Thus, our leather and our wool are French. Concerned about the environment, we only use high quality and sourced materials for greater durability.
